Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) thinks NBC was wrong to cut off its business relationship with real-estate mogul and television personality Donald Trump.

"When it comes to Donald Trump, I like Donald Trump. I think he's terrific. I think he's brash. I think he speaks the truth," Cruz said Tuesday morning on Fox & Friends.

Donald trump: 4 brackets; 1-5-10-15%; kill death tax & corporate tax.

Ted Cruz does not have an opinion on China as far as I know.

Donald Trump wants to Repatriate jobs that China has been stealing (He leaves the details out ).

Ted Cruz: Defund amnesty; and refuse any nominees until rescinded. No path to citizenship for 1.65 million illegals in Texas. Boots on the ground, plus a wall.

Donald Trump: Wants to build a wall in the southern border and let Mexico pay for it ( how, he doesn’t tell ).

My feeling is that Cruz and Trump are forming an unspoken alliance to get rid of Jebbie and probably Walker and Rubio. Then they can duke it out later. Not a bad idea.

Cruz knows what the others are too frightened to admit: The WHITE VOTE is the only way a Republican candidate can win. Romney could have won 70% of the "Hispanic" vote and still lost. But had he captured merely an additional 4.5 PERCENT of the White Vote, he would now be president.

I think it was a smart move to not join the anti-Trump party. Donald doesn’t play nice and it’s not worth it. Cruz most likely agrees with most of what Donald has said about illegal immigration. I’m sure he differs quite a bit on other issues.

I don’t think Trump has a chance in hell of being prez in 2016 so why ruffle the Donald’s feathers? This is not the mountain Cruz wants to die on. He has nothing to lose by being congenial.

In fact, this petty back-and-forth nastiness on social media doesn’t look very presidential. For any of them.

I like Cruz. I like Trump. One difference is that Trump can’t be owned by the lobbyists who have destroyed this nation. Ted leans to the globalist side. I don’t like the H1B visa increase he supports, and I don’t like Cruz being taken in by McConnell in support of TPA. Sorry. Yes he said he made a mistake. But that mistake was a whopper. I think Cruz needs a bit of seasoning before being POTUS.

I mostly agree with your assessment. I am leaving room for Cruz to win me back, reversing his H1B position would certainly help.

BUT my number one focus is who can beat Hillary, she must not move into the WH. I have not forgotten Obama was elected a second time, and the voters have shifted even farther left since then. Trump may be the witch killer needed, but too early to tell yet.
