undertake law enforcement in their community without legal authority,
typically because the legal agencies are thought to be inadequate.
One solution is to mandate that they all serve out their terms of office in their Congressional districts. No more DC offices and staff. They can go to DC once per year for the SOTU Address. Then, impose term limits. They’ll behave differently if they’re constantly scrutinized by their electorate.
