Okay. My ancestors fought under the Southern Cross--and not for slavery but the Right of their State to sever the political bonds...--and fought on land and sea.

If I have to choose, the Republican Party can pound sand, right along with the Democrats (Communists) of today.

I will fly whatever flag I damned well please, and those who don't like it can personally try to take it down at the risk of serious injury or death.

As for education, the real issue here isn't about any one flag, it is about purging history.

And I had ancestors that had slaves too - BUT THEY WERE WRONG !!! You look at the Secession Documents and then tell me demorats flying that flag did not defend slavery.
