Panama, Costa Rica, Nicaraugua.....lot of ex pats moving in. Great lifestyle, not expensive, more freedom than here.
If you go to any of those places I’m told it will be a big lifestyle change.
I was watching a Dateline show about a guy who killed his girlfriend in Panama. They lived on the beach and it wasn’t anything special. Right behind them was a swamp. And where there wasn’t a swamp there was a ghetto.
I’ve considered two of the places you mentioned. The best advice I’ve gotten is to go for a few months then decide if you want to stay.
