Trump never declared personal bankruptcy. He carefully shielded his personal assets in a series of corporate bankruptcies while others lost their investments. The astounding thing to me is why, after the first two bankruptcies, anyone would invest in one of his companies or projects.

Remember, he also wasn’t going to announce? That’s what you promised us.
He’s already announced that the proper financial documents will be filed. He also said they would be filed, on time, without requests for extensions.
It is my speculation that he is holding back until the last days they are due primarily for two reasons; first to draw people like you like moths to a flame and then he can burn them once again, so put on your asbestos underwear. The second reason, I think, is that he is trying desperately to be solidly well above $9 billion net. Maybe even reaching for $10 billion.

I had $100 cash when I arrived in USA as a graduate student. I worked my way through college with part time jobs and earning scholarships, and now have net worth in your ball park.
But it gets increasingly harder to extrapolate into much bigger net worth because the taxes get bigger and bigger.
Going from nothing to a million is much easier than going from a million to a Billion. The tax structure is the barrier.
