Not sure I've ever seen a "conservative" say that on this forum.
To remind the trolls and dims monitoring this board: California built a double fence with a Border Patrol road in-between on less than 1/4th of our southern border. It reduced our illegal alien problem by about 95%. You may ask why Calif didn't build it along the entire border. Answer is that most of our border is very remote with just a few very small towns and no staging areas for illegals. That is why Arizona than became the focus of the invaders.
My point is that a double fence/wall works and only need to be built in areas that provide easy access for illegals to cross and meld into the population. We don't need it along huge stretches of desert in the Southwest, only in strategic access points.
Those who still promote a wall along our entire border haven't driven the huge wastelands that exist from California to Texas. Anyone attempting to cross in those places would die. They couldn't possibly carry enough supplies.
We should go back to Congress and start talking about border towns and access points along highways and not the entire border.

Guesses on how long until the first moonbat is going to become impaled on the fence — and if it will lead the news when they need to cut out a section of fence to remove the “visitor”?

I had such an entirely different view of White House security and the Secret Service, a few years ago.
Just being optimistic...
When they are concerned about having lampposts to the point of removing them, they are concerned about them being used for Jeffersonian purposes.
