I wouldn’t put my name out there for one of those social networking sites.
Never had a FB. Not interested. If I want to talk to someone, I'll call.
Why in the world would I want my updated image, my name, my state, my friends, my family, etc., floating around in cyberspace? What good would it ever do me?
In fact, it gives those who seek power (knowledge is power) access to everything there is to know about everybody. WHY would I want that? DUH. The NSA cell phone "voice recognition" is invasive enough!
