Lol, my parents used to grocery shop at a Dominion in the east end of Ottawa (St Laurent Shopping Centre) back in the 1970s. I don’t know if it’s just me and being a kid back then, but it just seemed that the lunch counter and bakery there (along with other grocery stores) were just that bigger and offered more to people.
