Nothing like announcing before hand.
I was wondering that, too...why are they announcing their plans?
Since this came out in the Israel National News, assuming it’s a legit outlet for official Israeli announcements, it’s because Israel WANTS the world to hear it.
Now, who could benefit by letting the world know, or at least hear, this news?
I cannot help but believe that Israel would not announce their plans beforehand, therefore this is a smokescreen or diversion. By announcing that a plan is being constructed implies a future time-frame, thus lulling the Iranians into a sense of security for the immediate future. While feeling all warm and fuzzy for the moment, they would not be ready for Tehran to become a smoking hole in the ground at 8:37 tonight.
Another tack could be “leaking” this information while the real plan is something entirely different. Regardless, when Israel decides to strike, I believe it will be in a form and a time totally unexpected.
No plans were revealed in the article and it's been public knowledge for years that Israel has said they will have to attack Iran when they reach a certain point in building a nuclear weapon.
Certainly they have numerous ways to attack Iran and this article seems to mean they are narrowing down the one(s) they will use if they haven't already decided which one(s). I think they already know and are ready right now to take out those Iranian nuclear facilities.
I expect this is just a heads up to Iran that they will be toast if they continue to build a bomb.
I expect the attack to happen before Iran gets and installs the Russian antiaircraft weapons Russia has yet to send.
They just formed this group. Never occurred to them before that they might have to do the military thing.
