President Obama said Tuesday he is not letting his foot off the gas pedal following a string of victories some are calling his "best week ever."
Obama said he plans to harness momentum from wins at the Supreme Court and in Congress to complete the unfinished business left on his agenda.
“The list is long,” Obama said during a press conference with Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff. “We are going to squeeze every last ounce of progress that we can make as long as I have the privilege of holding this office.”
Although he acknowledged some items would be “left undone,” Obama cited bipartisan criminal justice reform, a long-term highway bill and implementing a sweeping new rule on overtime pay as some of his top remaining goals before he leaves office in January, 2017.

He’s just simply running the U.S. government the way ones like Richard Daley Sr and Jr and other corrupt mayors ran Chicago city council in terms of greasing the system and having it rubber stamp whatever he chooses.

Sooo many people here and elsewhere simply fail to do the math: If the Democrat is beaten in 2016, the Democrats are nearly completely shut out of power for four years, and probably longer; that shutout extends right down to the State level.
Bobo's pecksniffery & disdain of building political capital, combined with his hasty mau mau heritage, have rotted the Democrat timber from underneath.
If his best week ever is when he manages to squeak through legislation that every president since Nixon passed convincingly, and then gets two judgments from the Supreme Court that he likes, it sure doesn’t take much to be his best ever. He better watch out, with the bar that low, he might trip over it next time.
