MOSCOW — At the height of the Cold War, it was common for American conservatives to label the officially atheist Soviet Union a “godless nation.” More than two decades on, history has come full circle, as the Kremlin and its allies in the Russian Orthodox Church hurl the same allegation at the West. “Many Euro-Atlantic countries have moved away from their roots, including Christian values,” Russian President Vladimir Putin said in a recent keynote speech. “Policies are being pursued that place on the same level a multi-child family and a same-sex partnership, a faith in God and a belief in Satan. This is the path to degradation.”

God knows who is Godless and in league with His (and our) enemies. We don’t need Putin to point it out to us, either. He has his own problems. We already know just who is to blame.
It is an embarrassment, but the Russians have the “moral high ground” on this issue. As an old “cold warrior”, I hate to have to admit that.
The Russians learned the hard way that communism was a nightmare and a failure. The communists in America are still too stupid to have a clue.

No, sorry. Putin is 100% correct in this. We are to elect and empower leaders. We are to pray for those leaders and stand to push them where the Country needs to go. Our leaders are GODLESS, thus, so is America. God will judge us harshly - all of us. Mostly, because Christians CONTINUE to stay silent. We are NOT standing. EVERY "Christian" pol should be out front condemning and refusing to enforce deviant marriage. But they are not. Louisiana is issuing licenses, under Jindahl, a supposed 'Christian'. Texas is issuing licenses under Abbott, a supposed 'Christian'.
You shall know them by their works. Thus far, not a Christian alive has fought back. Articles of Impeachment would have already been filed. But no, we will accept this, and the lawsuits and persecution that will now fall on the church.
