Not true at all, certainly not in recent years. Jews in Britain, Canada and (especially) Israel voted majority for conservative parties in their last national elections. (BRW, in each case, the more conservative party won the election.) This was reported in an article posted on FR about a month ago.
The major impetus for this is the realization that left wing governments have a tendency to pursue policies detrimental to Israel. If Jews in other nations have woken up it this salient fact, there is still some hope for American Jews.
Of course, no teaching in Judaism condones gay marriage, or homosexual activity; in fact, the Christian teaching about homosexuality comes from the Old Testament. Seems as if one of the reasons that ignorant leftist Jews support it is a myth spread by gay activists which asserts that homosexuals in Nazi Europe were treated like the Jews. This is flagrantly false. Deaths of homosexuals due to Nazi persecution were very rare in a percentagewise comparison to European Jews. We know that about two thirds of European Jewry was killed in the Holocaust, while only a tiny fraction of European homosexuals were. Hitler decreed that ALL Jews were to be exterminated, but he didn't say the same about homosexuals.
Can we get that “Jews” in quotes to segregate atheist cultural jews from believers?
American Jewry is different in that they are far more ASSIMILATED with the rest of an increasingly Liberal society.
Israelis in Israel can tell you that 90% of them would have voted for McCain and then Romney because it was apparent FROM THE OUTSET that Obama would distance himself from America's ONLY STABLE, RELIABLE, DEMOCRATIC, FREE, LIBERAL society in the entire region.
Israeli Jews are REALISTS who do not engage in Liberal fantasies because if they did, they would be dead.
American Jews have the luxury to drift into every humanitarian cause known to man and dog. From Save the LGTBT whales to Rights for Paleostinians to kill their brothers in Israel, (you name it, they champion it). Jews are at the forefront for “rights”, “liberation” and even “revolution” because long before the Kenyan called for “CHANGE”, the Jews always championed CHANGE in order to improve their position in the world and to improve others’ position in the world too, (i.e., Black Civil Rights Movement).
They are safe in their comfort zone with plenty of “padding” to protect them from the nasty realities of life or at least the threats their brothers and sisters have in Israel.
This enables them to vote twice for a Muslim-Kenyan seeking to destroy Israel and most of America's allies.
The Kenyan is destroying the fabric of American society and only a few Jews managed to wake up. Why is that?
The answer is that, the Jews, or at least many of them, suffer from Terminal Hemrroidial Liberalism, and nothing seems to be able to move them from the illogical stance that, ultimately will backfire on them too.
It makes no sense unless you look at how far away they have moved from the Torah and G-d’s Law. The more ignorant, the more assimilated, the greater the chance that they will champion any form of the new G-d, JUSTICE. Justice is the new Torah and they (the ignorant Jews) believe in Justice for droopy eared Beagle dogs, the Rights of Whales to beach themselves or self-determination for squirrels. These dumb Jews apply justice to everything and everybody, EXCEPT their fellow Jews in Israel. This same zeal for justice used to be applied to Torah and Judaism, not anymore. Jews who embrace tradition believe in Justice for Torah, the Land of Israel and the People of Israel. Pseudo-Justice is a sham and the ACLU knows it. Never have so many Jews been so out of touch with who and what they are. This leads to betrayal and even, Jewish Antisemitism, (now disguised as anti-Zionism).
