The whole bunch of ya’s should get out of the Northeast/Mid-Atlantic as fast as you can move your hinny’s.
Why is that? The tsunami from the Canary Islands?
Well, that’s not always possible, when you have folks in the area who might need you. I’d prefer to go South, especially to VA or the Carolinas; if just for the weather, and my own heritage. But I’m only 1/2 of this Marriage Unit :-)
There are lots of parts of the Appalachian Regional area - much of which is in PA - that are sparsely populated; and the people who ARE there are mostly conservative and trustworthy.
(There’s a saying that Pennsylvania is ‘Pittsburgh and Philadelphia, with Alabama in between’.)
I think one has to weigh a lot of stuff, before determining just how far ‘bugout’ one wants to go. Including weighing realistically the likely, as opposed to the somewhat possible, scenarios.
