"To the battlements!"

With the clear demarcation of the enemy comes the warriors. This is a fight to the final victory of this nation under God.

Most of them don’t read the Bible; & if they do, they put their own spin on it (bashing St. Paul, bashing Christ, bashing OT laws that NT saints honored). - In yesterday’s local paper, two fat, OLD lesbians were pictured waiting at the local government office demanding their marriage license. One of them was well into her 60’s. The office happened to be closed that day; but they were waiting. - I’m at the place where “if a person be filthy, let them be filthy still (in peace).” Pity is mostly all I feel on this subject. God is the judge.

Refineries are in the cities.

All you have to do is turn a valve to shut off the flow of refined petroleum products. Same with natural gas, just turn a valve or two and you’ve shut it down.

Shut off the railroad and there is no more coal for the coal fired power plants.

Nuclear power, best you could do with that is shut off the power to everyone yourself included.

Without fuel people would be too busy trying to feed themselves to form an effective army that would be on foot marching everywhere they went.

The 2nd Amendment refers to a well regulated militia not a mob.

Congress can call forth the militia or the state govts can call forth their militia, people acting on their own is a mob and an insurrection and the federal troops will be used to put down an insurrection.

If congress would declare Obama and company in insurrection of the govt of the US and call forth the militia, the people, to remove him from office then the people would be supported by the 2nd Amendment and Obamas control of fed troops would be taken from him.

There’s not going to be a clash of arms. The culture war was the fight. They won. There will be more encroachments and and when there’s pushback it will be settled by the courts.

You are obviously more optimistic than am I. My model of current events is the Nazi rise to power. I hope this model turns out to be mistaken, but so far it has proved to be rather accurate.

“You are obviously more optimistic than am :

I’m not optimistic at all. I think we will continue to get more of the same on a lot of issues.
The GOP in the main seems to be trying to distance themselves from social issues.
Things like flags and gay marriage aren’t going to be high on their list of priorities.
The culture is going to keep moving left. I expect after this initial fury at gay marriage that in a year or so nobody will raise an eyebrow and more and more churches will make peace with it.
There will always be churches and people that don’t of course but in the end they’ll largely be marginalized.

Again, you are being optimistic. You are totally ignoring the likely coming behavior of the increasingly hostile Gaystapo.

Just as I use the Nazi rise to power as the model for where our society is currently going, so do I use the example of homosexuals in the bible as a model to explain what the Gaystapo is likely to do next.

Do you think they will just sit on their hands now that they've won?

Tell me how much you've thought this through.

“The pen is mightier than the sword holds true after all...”

Yep. And constant contact via social media.
That in my opinion is why it’s gaining so much speed.

I was really shocked at the confederate flag blow back and how quick it gained momentum. I was expecting the usual call to ban guns.
And look at who led the charge against the flag. Republican politicians in Red southern states.
The businesses like Walmart and Amazon and even NASCAR they didn’t wait for any fallout. They jumped in front of it. All to avoid the negative press and social media blizzard that they knew was heading their way.

I guess NASCAR figured their corporate sponsors were bigger money sources than many of their southern fans.

While conservatives were buying guns and ammo and going to the range...the left was mastering social media and how to manipulate public opinion on a mass scale.

No I’m not. The gay lobby will over reach and then they’ll pull back and start over.
There won’t be a point where they jump from wanting marriage straight to the gulags.

they’ll keep swaying public opinion and wait on old guys like me to die off.

I have been saying for a long time, and to anyone who would listen, that Liberal control of the information streams is the greatest threat this nation faces.

There is no "Freedom of Speech" for conservatives. Liberals control all access to the masses, and that's how they get away with their insanity. Conservative voices cannot be heard.

We are living in a combination of "1984" and "Brave New World."

I beg to differ, especially if they get a little "help."

Restoration not revolution.

Revolution is what the left wants, we must NOT
give it to them. Make them abide by the Constitution.

“Conservative voices cannot be heard.”

Exactly right. I don’t see that changing though.
That’s how they’ve managed to win. The left has a stranglehold on shaping public opinion.

Weapons aren’t going to help with that.

And you would think members of our party would have figured this out by now. You would think it would be the most important and most discussed topic on conservative websites.

Weapons aren’t going to help with that.

Certainly not if they sit in storage at home.

Yeah I think I’ll wait til that gets legs somewhere besides a blog.

I’ve been hearing for at least 25 years that the camels back has finally been broken. It hasn’t happened yet. It isn’t going to happen.
The left will keep slowly getting their agenda out and approved.
Conservatives will continue to bitch but really there’s not a lot that can be done at this point anyway.
We can’t hold back time.

I think the GOP wants social issues to go away.
I think they see social issues as losers in the long term.
The GOP isn’t going to be able to put together a social media wave. They don’t really care about social issues either way. They supported them when it suited their purpose but now they see the social issues and the social conservatives as an anchor around their necks.

Yeah I think I’ll wait til that gets legs somewhere besides a blog.

For that to happen, people would have to implement the strategy. There was a time when I would have worked to make it happen, but I have now reached a point where I think the only way to make things better is to make things worse.

I’ve been hearing for at least 25 years that the camels back has finally been broken. It hasn’t happened yet. It isn’t going to happen. You overlook our trump card. Reality does not, and will not play along with the leftest agenda. It brings unmitigatedly bad consequences wherever it is implemented. So far, the nation's wealth has made these consequences tolerable, but as the dollar continues to decline in real actual value, the consequences will slowly become more acute.

My latest model for the leftists are Neo-Malthusians. All of their policies encourage death amongst their adherents and Nature abhors a vacuum.

I say the ideas that have dragged mankind out of barbarism will make a resurgence, but I do not doubt much suffering shall occur before this happens. As Adam Smith said: "there is a great deal of ruin in a nation."

Social and Fiscal are two sides of the same coin. You cannot have a sound Fiscal system without first having a Sound Social system.

If theft and murder are not immoral, then how is anyone going to be able to hold on to their wealth?

And believe me, the only thing keeping theft and murder from being common place is the inertia left over from being a Christian nation. The more that inertia is dissipated, the less inhibition people will feel about robbing and killing to get what they want.

Events that undermine the Judeo-Christian principles that hold it all together, simply accelerate the break down towards a Pre-Christian barbarism.

Preach it, brother! Governments (primarily leftist) are the greatest killers of their citizens throughout history. Mao and Stalin will look like grade school in comparison to the US without moral restraint.

The Truth:

“But this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting.”

“Gentlemen can always fight better than rabble!” ...
“Mr. Butler.”
“I think it’s hard winning a war with words, gentlemen.”
“What do you mean, sir?”
“I mean, Mr. Hamilton, there’s not a cannon factory in the whole South.”
“What difference does that make, sir, to a gentleman?”
“I’m afraid it’s going to make a great deal of difference to a great many gentlemen, sir.”
“Are you hinting, Mr. Butler, that the Yankees can lick us?”
“No, I’m not hinting; I’m saying very plainly that the Yankees are better equipped than we. They’ve got factories, shipyards, coal mines, and a fleet to bottle up our harbors and starve us to death. All we’ve got is cotton, and slaves, and — arrogance.”
