They do it for money, generous vacation time, and a pension.

Who are the “one noters” around here? Who is it that keeps insisting that the the administrations force teachers to lie about grades?
Gee! Last time I checked no teacher has ever had gun held to their heads forcing them to lie to kids, their parents, and the taxpayers.
Last I checked everyone else in America manages to find work that doesn't do that to kids.
