Face it. The institution of marriage has been broken for decades. There are a myriad of reasons why from the “sexual revolution”, to Uncle Sam taking over the role of provider, to desensitization to creeping moral decay (Bork had it on the money with his “Slouching Toward Gommorah” book), and on and on.
