A lot of men had multiple wives in the Old testament. So there is at least there is some Biblical background to it.
I am not saying I support it. One wife is enough to keep up with. ;)

Yes. Understood. As for polygamy, the old adage comes to mind that people should be careful what they wish for because they just may get it. Ha!
