I don't think the Confederate flag has any official place other than at memorials and cemeteries. I think everyone who flies it should be cognizant of the offense and hurt it might cause.

And yet this hysterical climbing on the bad flag, bad flag bandwagon makes me want to go out and buy one, half Yankee, half Tarheel that I am.

IMO, this flag is as offensive as the Confederate flag:

Either one can say, "I am proud of my heritage," or "I oppose you."
