Unlike the author, I am a practical practicing traditional Roman Catholic and times are tough for us pre-Vatican II worshippers.

This 'man' appears to be joined at the hip with the foreign aid student who habituates the White Hut.

How many positions of world leadership do we have to see infiltrated by those who intend on destroying before we realize that, that was the plan all along. They aren’t incompetent. They aren’t confused. They don’t just different political views. They are out to destroy with premeditation. They are out to discredit the United States, the Catholic Church, Evangelicals etc. whenever and wherever they can. We need to wake up!

At least there is some comfort that they hate our teacher more than us.

Agree, Homer. This pope lies and we all know who the father of lies is. He is pushing one world government.
He is attempting to undermine all that this nation stands for and our Christian faith. I despise him.

"This requires the man be... beyond reproach in every way."

No, you just have to be the successor of St. Peter.

-—Being a protestant Christian, the understanding of the structure of the leadership of the Catholic Church escapes me. -—

But that won't stop me from expounding on it....

-— One man stands above all others in matters of the Word of God and the church doctrine in Catholicism. -—

Yes. And the pope has formally exercised his charism of infallibility arguably 2-3 times in the past 100+ years.

-— This requires the man be of unquestionable faith, steadfast in his beliefs, a practitioner of the Word of God, pure in heart and character, just, and beyond reproach in every way.-—

Like Peter? Where does the necessity of impeccability come from?

The pope is the vizier/vice-regent/majordomo/master of the palace of the eternal Davidic Kingdom, of which Jesus is the king. See Rev. 3:7.

In the ancient world and the ancient Jewish world, the vizier was the king's “right hand man,” and would reign if the king was incapacitated. See the book of Kings or google “vizier bible kings.”

We see the transfer in office of the vizier or master of the palace in Isaiah 22, from Shebna to Eliakim.

We also see that the vizier's authority was represented by a sash and over-sized key which the vizier wore over his shoulder.

Isaiah tells us that “he will be like a father over all of Judah.”

Jesus, who sits on the throne of David (see Luke), gives the keys of the kingdom to Peter in Matthew 16:19.

This office has had an unbroken line of successors for 2000 years. The pope, like the Apostles, has the authority to "bind and loose." Look up the meaning. It means indisputable ecclesial authority. "If he won't listen to the church, treat him as a pagan or tax-collector." --Jesus

Not Catholic, but in the "Age of Obama" a strong Pope would be a real blessing & instead we get someone who "appears to be joined at the hip with the foreign aid student who habituates the White Hut."

As to your other comment:

I am SO very sick of people going on and on about how "incompetent" Obama is and how he "just doesn't know what to do". I had a huge argument with a family member over this yesterday - he is NOT incompetent or confused & he knows exactly what he is doing ... his intent all along was & is to destroy America and so far, he's right on schedule. Looks like the Pope is going to go down that path with the Catholics as well.

Pope Francis lacks faith in God. No other explanation needed.

“No journalist there committed “blasphemy”; at least, no definition of blasphemy any Christian knows by doing or saying things against the Lord Our God or Our Savior, Jesus Christ.”

Didn’t they have a cover depicting the holy spirit sodomizing a man or something?

Why would anyone care what a protestant “christian” has to say about anything?

He is a freaking hippy socialist.

I am scared the exact circumstances under which the last Pope departed were extremely mysterious.

How this individual was ever elected Pope totally escapes me. Why the last one “retired” was nothing short of bizaar. Something very strange and ugly is growing, not just in the Catholic Church, but also in the highest levels of the mainstream Protestant Churches. At a time when the greatest threat to Christianity comes from Militant Islam with a very clear well defined theological message which appears to resonate with so many in the large Islamic population, these people are engrossed in palpable nonsensical discussions about unilateral disarmament, global warming, etc.

It is bizaar and self-destructive.

Nothing this author writes about comes close to the definition of Blasphemy.

The Pope can get math problems wrong.

None of the issues being addressed here have been delivered “Ex-cathedra”, or with the authority of “infallibility”.

I also disagree with the Pope on AGW and his understanding of economics and declaration against arms manufacturers.

The donation of Constantine was a fraud and so is pope F.
More and more this pope is fulfilling the prophecy of Malachy.

The real question is "what does this Pope truly believe?"

Apparently Pantheism (per paragraph 83 in the infamous encyclical):

83. The ultimate destiny of the universe is in the fullness of God, which has already been attained by the risen Christ, the measure of the maturity of all things.[53] Here we can add yet another argument for rejecting every tyrannical and irresponsible domination of human beings over other creatures. The ultimate purpose of other creatures is not to be found in us. Rather, all creatures are moving forward with us and through us towards a common point of arrival, which is God, in that transcendent fullness where the risen Christ embraces and illumines all things. Human beings, endowed with intelligence and love, and drawn by the fullness of Christ, are called to lead all creatures back to their Creator.

Who can take this man seriously as a devout man of God much less as the head of the Catholic Church?

Not me.

The Roman Catholic Communist Cell Group is BASED in the Vatican..

A member the Comintern Universal.. which has many Protestant Cells as members.. in the World Council of Churchs.. which always was an organizing member..

It’s awesome to watch this develop... and watch people trying to pick up the “TURD” by the clean end...

It’s a virtual comedy..
