Obama came out in favor of gay marriage in 2012, and Romney still only got 17% of the black vote. Gay marriage may not play well in Black or Hispanic communities, but no chance it is going to get them to vote for Republicans.

Kind of proves the notion that Blacks and Hispanics rank much lower on the IQ and common sense scale.

Non Sequitur. The reason blacks voted for Obama is because he looks kinda black. They overlooked their disagreements on gay marriage. Blacks will vote for Hillary if she promises them reparations and overlook her views on gay marriage. Republicans need not give a rat's patooey about those kinds of blacks.

The important thing that is missing in the article is how to counterattack the butchering of civil marriage. Personally I would give up on civil marriage as suggested by the author but otherwise I disagree with the author. I would do a strategic retreat from civil marriage, but counterattack with marriage. Every church needs to define their position on marriage as between one man and one woman as a first amendment right. Couples getting married must marry in a church, ignore the state and give up any personal benefits of civil marriage.

Walker's job would be to eliminate the personal benefits of civil marriage and turn any benefits that he can back to marriage, ideally through churches.
