The problem with his strategy is that same sex marriage is just one tiny symptom of the cultural decay that has been continuously progressing. That same sex couples do not want to get married is a much bigger problem than this. If he wants to attack the systemic dismemberment of the behavioral norms that have developed over thousands of years, I would applaud.
