“There is no doubt you are born with your sexual preferences.”

Actually, there is a lot of doubt. I’ve met lesbians who became lesbians after a very bad marriage to a man. The one transsexual I knew well enough to discuss things with had been treated viciously by everyone in his family except his grandmother...not too surprising, really, that he wanted to be a woman.

The best book I’ve read about it said homosexuals were a continuum, from those whose early life experiences made them virtually 100% inclined to homosexuality, to those who acted purely by choice. It was written by a guy who counseled homosexuals if they wanted to change.

Agree. If you get to really know someone gay, they will eventually tell you about the abuse they suffered. Many of the women had been raped. Lots of incest in their past. Very sad.
