Yesterday, the city council where I live, passed an ordinance that no e cigarette can be shown in public places or restaurants or shops. E cigarettes emit a bit of water vapor and it’s gone in one second - just water vapor. This ordinance was passed because they could, no other reason.

The Confederate Flag will come down because they can, no other reason.

The Supreme Court endorsed sodomy, made it the law of the land, because they could, no other reason.

You can assess reasons for doing these actions, but it really is just “because they can”.

I ordered another flag today, “An Appeal To Heaven”. It will be flying in our front yard - because we can.
