i would agree.

as a scot born in boston, the yankee in me runs pretty deep.

but there’s one thing about this yankee. you don’t get to tell me what i think or what i can and cannot do.

as such, i’ve been shopping for a nice southern naval jack (the confederate battle flag). i’ve found some nicely sewn cloth ones and some nylon ones. not sure which to grab... but it’ll prolly be 2’x3’ and not the 3’x5’ which seems to be the most common. (is there any etiquette here?)

btw, if anyone could let me know... why are some of them square? was that the battlefield version?

My understanding is that the square one was used by the Army of Northern Virginia. The oblong one was the Confederate Naval Ensign.
