I find it adorable that these young men are going to “school” in the middle of summer though. I know it’s really going to pay off one day. Lolol.

The honors student is probably taking an extra class for enrichment. But I guarantee you that the rest of those kids (the thugs) are in summer school because they did absolutely no work during the normal school year. So summer school is a make-up time for them.

By the way, this is one reason why many urban students know so little. They fail during the nine-month school year, then the district allows them to make it up during a two-month summer session. And no, the summer session is not accelerated. It's just a way to get full credit for partial work.

The video is a couple of weeks old so there were probably still in school. Maybe beating the hell out of another kid was their senior prank.
