It is not right to accept authority that is unlawful. The Supreme Court does not have the authority to make law or to create imagined “rights” out of whole cloth.

He’s right...but the judgments will fall on the general populace. It is the King David pride pattern. King David, tempted of Satan but ultimately planned by God, commanded that a census of a type morally forbidden by the Mosaic law be undertaken. God was actually out to punish Israel’s general population for the sins occurring within the populace at large! So the Census was done and God struck the nation with a plague!

Our government has been blinded by it’s own arrogance against the living God. Measures and actions by our government will lead increasingly to our destruction. Since we are a representative republic and we direct elect our officials, the personal accountability of every eligible voter(and those who could but don’t vote), for the mistakes of our ELECTED OFFICIALS, is magnified compared with those who live under a King they had no part in selecting(upon whom God still laid his judgments) .

The real lesson of the King David Census issue, is that no matter the government, God expects the people under those governments to live according to his statutes and laws(and not by the ungodly laws these governments may try to foist) and he holds the general populations accountable for not exerting their moral, if not always numerical strengths against governments who have gone corrupt(like the Hebrew midwives that defied Pharoah!)!

All legislation is an expression of morality.

Legislation cannot force morality, which comes from the heart. But all law is based on one moral code or another.

But it is okay for public officials to ignore the will of The People.

Got it.

Or that is immoral, or that causes harm. The duty is to submit, not to obey.

The problem is that thanks to the Godless Gen X, millenials and others forms of leftish trash 50% or more agree with gay marriage.

And I wonder who taught the schools where Gen X'rs went? I wonder who it was that swept FDR into office four times like he was their king or something. Fight socialists all over the world and then vote for it here at home with FDR. Good job.

And then, oversee the largest transfer of wealth thanks to LBJ. Long before I ever was able to vote.

And by the way, Roe V Wade and babies led to slaughter by the thousands long before a single GenXr hd the right to step on the ballot box and say different.

This country was starting to circle the bowl long before we had a say about it.

You gave us a handful of sh#t, what do you expect, for us to make chocolate cake?

The Bible trumps what the SCOTUS thinks the Constitution says. Suck it, Sally, though I know you prefer clam

Exactly. And the only oaths that really matter are the ones made individually to people we love. Boilerplate oaths aren’t worth squat.

Well, it sure sounds like he gets the picture. Marriage is a serious liability with no fault divorce in effect. Then there is the fact that you pay more individually in federal taxes when married than if you simply cohabitated. I could go on, but by itself, marriage is a high liability in today’s developed world.

Laws are supposed to support morality.

It’s not marriage equality.
People with the mental disorder, of which they are so “proud”, have always had the same right as anyone else; to marry anyone of the opposite sex that they choose.

“Love” didn’t win.
“Pride” didn’t win.
A mental disorder won.
Those looking to abolish the 1st amendment protections of Freedom of Religion won.
Those looking to abolish the 10th amendment protections of State’s Rights won.
Those who abhor the concept of personal responsibility won.
Those who want to see American traditions die won.

This is the whimper with which America’s world ended.

Churches had better get prepared for life after tax exempt status after Hillary. Progressives are just waiting for after the 2016 elections to enforce the law against churches that do not follow marriage equality laws. All it will take is one new Supreme Court justice (and Hillary will probably be able to select Scalia’s and Alito’s successors) to support the IRS when it proclaims that the right to worship does not entitle churches to violate the law and discriminate.

The IRS will conclude that churches that decide to run afoul of civil rights law and discriminate against lesbians and gays are not entitled to tax breaks and benefits that are funded, in part, by the very people they discriminate against.

If the GOPe even cared about this, they would stop trying to sabotage the one candidate who will win against Hillary - Ted Cruz.

However, the GOPe does not care, so churches had better start looking at their budgets and figuring out how to survive when a third of their tithes start being used to pay taxes. Or, they could capitulate, recognize marriage equality, and maintain their tax-exempt status. They will be looking at this choice in about three years.

“A picture makes it obvious she’s turd material...”

By her usual and excessively condescending facial expression, one might think that such “material” is on Sally’s upper lip. Then there’s her over-educated, knowledge deficient elitist personality. My observation is that Megan Kelly provided her an entree to Fox. Sally didn’t show well so back to the minors.

Was it then wrong for Barry to condemn Heller?

Sally says ‘obviously not...why do you ask...?’

He says a 1 to 3 percent minority can’t punish the majority without expecting to pay dearly for it in the long run.

Bang! Your Friend couldn't be more correct.

This ruling was done in such a way that means the Majority of the American People now support their lifestyle. Instead since it was done in this Judicial Tyranny. I.E. pushing the other side so hard and hateful. That an Opposite reaction is bound to occur.

What happens if/when this is repelled (oh that will never happened!) We said this ruling couldn't happen either.

So I ask. What happens when this ruling is undone or some state outright refuses to abide by it.

An Aftershock is coming.

Seems some folks have confused the concept of "highest court" with "highest authority" including most who reside on the highest court. The highest authority is the Constitution and the majority of the highest court are in open rebellion against the highest authority.
