What's up with that?
Andrew Jackson was born in March and Thomas Jefferson in April.
Their day should have been months ago.
FWIW, from Wikipedia ...
Many state Democratic Parties have used the day to highlight local party leaders. For example:
the Democratic Party of Mississippi also honors civil rights leader Fannie Lou Hamer, with a JeffersonJacksonHamer celebration,
the Democratic State Central Committee of Connecticut holds "JeffersonJacksonBailey Day" in honor of state Democratic boss and Democratic National Committee Chairman John Moran Bailey.
Florida Democratic Party renamed their key dinner event "Leadership Blue"
Wisconsin Democrats and Minnesota DFL have renamed their dinners the "Founders' Day Gala"
Future Democrats may know this fundraiser as Clinton-Obama Day (or Obama-Clinton or Clinton-Obama-Clinton Day).
For now, I guess everyday is a Clinton Day fundraiser.
Anything to get the paying saps into the door. The balance of the tickets they give away.
