Members of the Congressional Black Caucus are calling for a national ban on the use of the Confederate flag on any government property — including license plates.
The CBC lawmakers introduced a resolution Thursday in the aftermath of last week's racially motivated shooting during Bible study at Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church in Charleston, S.C., that killed nine people.
"A hate crime of this nature must lead to effective legislation that will curtail similar incidences in the future," CBC Chairman G.K. Butterfield (D-N.C.) said in a statement.

Rumor control has Fort Hood being renamed for Union General Thomas (Rock of Chickamauga) and Fort Beauregard being renamed for Union General Ambrose Burnside.
The South waged a war against the North to preserve its perceived right to own slaves. To enslave human beings against their will at the point of a gun, whip, chains and dogs. The war was fought under the Colors of the “Stars and Bars,” the Southern battle flag.
The South got is ass handed to it in that war and were forced to surrender. But they did not fully do so.
Certain protocol's were not demanded by the North and in the mind of people in the South, the war never ended.
When an army is vanquished in war, it surrenders and its Colors are “Struck” from all official sites. That is lowered. Lowering the battle flag is the internationally recognized symbol of surrender. In its place the winners flag is raised.
The internationally recognized symbol of refusal to surrender, even in the face of total loss is to “Nail Colors to the Mast!” It is a sign of defiance. Doing so says F—k Y-u!
That's what the South has been doing since June 1865. F—k Y-u! In defiance of the law the South continued their immoral activity of enslaving, and brutalizing human beings.
Now the time has come for the South to “Strike the Colors.”
Lower the Stars and Bars and all the rot it represents.
We need to remind the “children” that you don’t always get what you want. In this case we’ve already given them far more than what they need which is very obvious by their self-entitled attitude.
Lets be fair. It can now be replaced with the rainbow flag.

How do you figure that? I thought slaveowners were a tiny percentage of the population?
In actual fact, any such program would have been paid mostly by northerners, since they outnumbered southerners by such a large proportion.
It is of course similar to the way that blacks would pay for part of their own reparations.
That brings up an interesting idea. Give blacks each $1M in reparations, then tax the reparations at 100%, withheld.

I don’t recall owning a slave and neither did my father or his grandfather so I don’t see the truth in that.

We do have a few DemoRat spies on here that rear their ugly head every once in awhile. The handles they use trying to appear conservative can be pretty amusing.

Some of the trolls appear to be black men that have got caught up in this all white men hate black man tripe. Its simply not the truth. Do they REALLY think we approve of a young white psychotic kid hopped up on drugs going into their churches and shooting and killing innocent black people or for that matter, ANYONE, including liberals (though sometimes I flipflop on this). HELL NO! I’ll put it this way if ANY of our church members that have CCL (including white men) were in attendance that Sunday we would have turned around and filled that white boy full of lead. Hell I have a young black gal that I’ve taught to play guitar for years. Love her to death. She’s a great girl and everyone of the white people in our church love her to death too and are very protective of her. I’m getting perturbed at an administration and all the typical race agitators using emotion and false flag events or staging protests to make it seem like white people are their enemy. We are NOT. The agitators are doing it to put us at each others throats for profit and votes and to try out their damn social experiments. I wish more black people would wake up and realize how they’re being manipulated and realize this is just a good vs. bad situation and would join forces with other good white people and run the manipulators out of town.
