It was poorly written so he decided to beef it up a bit?

As I warned those who naively believed that SCOTUS would do the right thing, here, a few times in the past few weeks; Roberts is STILL blackmailed into betraying those who believe in the Constitution and freedom.

And so, once again rather than sending it back to be properly written by those who have the duty to write laws, he ‘pretzels himself’ to ‘rewrite’ it for them.

Welcome to post-Constitutional 0bamerica.

Imagine if it had gone the way it should have (Scalia’s dissent becomes the majority decision). It would be (and should be) up to Congress to correct a law that they wrote - and that would’t happen with the current Congress. So - Obama’s minions had to have this decision go this way or Obamacare would become toothless. So - somehow they convinced Roberts and Kennedy (the other four are mindless minions, they were easy) to vote for this tortured logic - they have to have something on them to get them to put aside their intelligence.

...and since it’s poorly written, they can rule by fiat?

That’s what you just told them Mr Roberts.

Since the government no longer feels it has to follow the law, do I still have too?

King v. Burwell is the Supreme Court’s “Humpty Dumpty” decision, that the written law no longer means what it actually says, but can be modified “at whim” by the president, to mean what he wants it to mean. In effect, the Supreme Court has just decided to cede all of its power to the president.

Through the Looking Glass (1872):

“When I use a word,” Humpty Dumpty said, in rather a scornful tone, “it means just what I choose it to mean — neither more nor less.”

“The question is,” said Alice, “whether you can make words mean so many different things.”

“The question is,” said Humpty Dumpty, “which is to be master — that’s all.”
