WASHINGTON (AP) — His health care legacy secure, President Barack Obama cast Thursday's Supreme Court ruling upholding Obamacare as a historic and emphatic declaration that the law has now been "woven into the fabric of America."

"This is reality," Obama said in a celebratory statement in the Rose Garden. "We can see how it is working."

I blame estrogen for the election of Odungo.

I blame estrogen for the implementation of Obamacare (Pelosi)

I blame estrogen for the 'tainted' Supreme Court (no pun intended)

I blame estrogen for the downfall of America.

Yes, we can see how it’s working - very poorly.

0bama is right; it is entrenched and it’s not going to be removed. No more than Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid or Food Stamps will be.

The only way I see these programs going away is through a catastrophic military defeat and occupation by a foreign power, who abolishes them. Then, when we reclaim the country, we don’t reinstate them.

But short of that, all of these things are here to stay.

The old Soviet Republic simply disintegrated under the sheer weight of the central bureaucracy.

The USSR collapsed, but the organs of the state survived; they just got new names. And they have been re-opened “under new management” as it were.

A bureaucratic entity, like a pernicious vine, has to be pulled out by the roots, and that’s not going to happen domestically. Someone once did a study tracing the Roman bureaucracy, and how it continued its life by being incorporated into the Catholic Church. Virtually all of the Roman bureaucratic organs still exist today.

At least Obummer equates zerOcare with racism being woven into the fabric of American culture.

America is now irreversibly on the road to socialist mediocrity and Soviet-style failure.

I agree. Go through a week and count the number of people you deal with who are simply incompetent at what they do, and could care less that they are incompetent. America was built on a work ethic, honesty and pride in one's work. Competence. Americans today are indifferent about even showing up for work, and all they care about is the automatic deposit at the end of the week.

"They will make a mint....until Hillary puts in Single Payer."

Actually I think the Aetna's of the world would love to see single payer. Somebody has to administer the claims. Private insurance companies now administer Medicare as fiscal intermediaries. The upside they get paid well to be paper pushers. They have no risk exposure if the government pays out more claims than revenue. A win-win scenario except for the revenue side which is us poor tax payers.

Watch him run for his office again, against the Constitution.

And the SCOTUS will just rule that “people never meant for a literal term limit.”

“woven into the fabric of America.”

Permanently lodged in America’s rectum.

Traditional marriage has a lot more claim to being "woven into the fabric" of America than Obamacare, and we're expected to simply give that up like flipping a switch.

Let's find out just how sharp the other edge of that blade is.

City workers in Bixby, OK just recently were told their family insurance deductible would go from $ 500-600 a year to $7,000 a year....

There was a uproar, of course..and the city is backtracking...suggesting GAP insurance is the answer now.

I foresee....this type of thing happening all over..the country.
