Bill Kristol has supported the removal of the Confederate flag from the South Carolina capitol grounds for 15 years. But when he took to Twitter yesterday to criticize the left's "frenzy of self-righteousness" in the wake of Charleston, he brought down on his head a deluge of ugly criticism.
On today's Morning Joe, Jonathan Capehart and John Heilemann eschewed the kind of scatalogical suggestions that had been made to Kristol on Twitter, but engaged in a barrage of criticism of their own. Capehart accused Kristol of "belittling" the families of the Charleston victims, while Heilemanntelling Kristol he was "trolling"sarcastically said that the Left doesn't need his help.

Heilemann, Capehart jump on Kristol for saying Confederate veterans worthy of respect. Ping to Today show list.
The Battle Flag has as much to do with the Charleston murders as the Golds Gym tee shit he wore
The fascist are comin ! The fascists are coming !
I’m with Kristol on this. It never made sense to fly the Confederate Flag at the state capital.
But it also makes no sense to take it down now, because some nutball on drugs shot some good people in a black church and the libs are shouting “Take it down!”
Anyone who wants to take it down now is just helping to reinforce the liberal lies.
Use of the Confederate Flag by a insane person certainly deflects from his manifesto as his excuse citing the assults and murders of completely innocent whites, “hispanics, and asians, committed by black youths and their reason for the cold blood killing of Treyvon Martin. Doesn’t it ?
Why is Kristol appearing on MSNBC?
