Just one day after he told KENS 5 that he would continue to sell it, Dixie Flag Company owner Pete Van de Putte confirmed Tuesday that the store will no longer sell the Confederate Battle Flag.
He confirmed just after 6 p.m. that the decision was effective this afternoon.

He said all of their flags are made in USA. Some in VA.
The fact that people are so easily cowed is what is frightening.
We will be proudly flying the confederate flag alongside the Gadsden at our July 4th deck party. Ya’ll come. :-)
So where the hell are all of the southerners? They are buying lots of flags online, but can’t be bothered to show up and stand against this?

I got a small Confederate Flag at Six Flag over Texas when I was a kid. I displayed it in my room for years. Our school mascot was of an old, gray-haired Rebel soldier, and our yearbooks always incorporated the imagery of a Confederate flag. Part of my childhood.
Now, cultural Marxists, their media handmaidens, and the cowardly, toadying GOP, are all out trying to eradicate the flag in some kind of ISIS-like erasure of history and iconography. And equate it to some kind of Nazi-esque symbol. Sick. And damn all these people to hell.
This is America? If so, it’s no longer an America I’ll stand with. I’m going to be flying the Confederate flag from here on out.
It’s all about removing freedoms in small increments. What’s amazing is how many people are falling for it. The Christian cross will be next because so many people are “offended” by it.

This is insanity. And the fact that it just keeps getting worse indicates how craven Americans have become.
The Klan used the American Flag as often as the Confederate one. The American flag flew over a slave nation longer than the Confederate One. The COnfederate flag is a region southern symbol and a part of American History.
What comes next? Cutting out Confederate Flags from paintings and illustrations and book covers? Will the American Flag be the next one to be banned?
Anybody who opposes this insanity should buy one now and fly it from their home.
THis is killing free speech.
Civil War battle reenactments will be a lot less realistic with just one side on the field. Actually, come to think of it, this is a model for what Leftists want; just one side - theirs.
