So; you, like verga, think the bible is NOT adequate to get a person saved and on his/her way to heaven?

There are 1 billion illiterate people in the world today.

Illiteracy — The Bad News and the Good

Are they all damned?

How are they supposed to learn about Jesus?

Christ's Church teaches that non-Christians can be saved, so certainly independent Bible-readers can be saved.

But these paths are not a sure norm for salvation. Most Christians have never read the entire Bible. And what person could derive the Trinity without assistance from other Christians? The Bible isn't perspicacious.

As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are certain things hard to be understood, which the unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, to their own destruction.

Could you tell verga this?

He seems a bit confused on the subject.
