Some that know me say they are sick and tired of me using pro life family values as a litmus test to whether someone has really sincerely asked Jesus into their life, ask forgiveness for their sins and thanked Jesus for personally dying on the cross for their sins.

Well I always do this, if its a famous newscaster or famous Democrat, whoever, I ask this same question as people try and rewrite history, did they really love Jesus if they supported abortion and a whole host of anti Christian stances?

I caught some flack for asking this same question after this shooting, I still cant get my mind around the idea of someone actually loving Jesus yet supporting abortion etc and even the removal of the Name of God/Christ from the classroom public square. People say I need prayer myself for feeling this way.

Now here we go again, I am told to ignore the fact that these folks in this situation (they just happen to be black this time, liberal white Protestants/Catholics are just as bad btw) vote against all mighty God/Christ, they support a anti Christian party platform.

Now they want Obama, who clearly has no love of Christ to so the eulogy for the black Minister.

I cant get past this, but I am being told by many that I am the problem they are fine and I just need to get over it.

I personally have been to a number of different Churches because I have moved around so many times, when I attend a new Church I simply find out if they are a pro life family values Bible believing Church or not, if they are not I dont step foot in it.

These poor 9 people that were shot apparently were in a Bible Study? What study of the Bible would allow anybody to feel that God/Christ would not be upset by them voting against everything He stands for?

**********************************************

It’s called being a “casual Christian”.

....“casual Christianity” provides a false hope of ultimate healing, but fails to eradicate the disease that is sure to condemn everyone who doesn’t embrace the authentic Jesus of Nazareth. One of the saddest parts of the Bible is in the Sermon on the Mount where Jesus talks about the last day when many who were convinced they knew Christ will be told, “Depart from me, I never knew you.” As the late, and sorely missed, Dr. Francis Schaeffer was fond to say: “There is only one reason to believe in Christianity—because it’s true.” There is nothing casual about true Christianity—you’re either in it, all the way, or you’re tragically on the outside and in grave peril.
