Excellent!
The first rifle I bought my (now teenaged) son was an old Ithaca Model 49. It’s an excellent and safe ‘starter’ gun. Ours is also incredibly accurate. All in all, a wonderful and well-made weapon.
I remember being about 10 or 11 years old running on top of a number of Rock Island railroad (aka the Chicago, Rock Island and Pacific Railroad) cars that were parked on a side rail line close to where I lived while the company was in bankruptcy and had stopped all operations a year or two before. All of us neighborhood friends had a blast doing that together.
My Mom never knew I was doing that, but if she found out I had there might have been hell to pay.
That photo of the girls standing on top of the moving train is obviously a photo-shop. But I’m sure it actually happened.
