“No longer are the police out there to “Protect and Serve” but rather act as revenue securing agents for the state.”

And the “fees” here in California don’t end with your driving. Now we pay a “fee” for buying a can of paint. A “lumber fee” when we buy a 2x4. These laws show up but no one in government every explains where the money goes. Like the ‘add-ons” to your traffic ticket.

relax - the illegals will have several drivers licenses.

A) present “none” if pulled over by cop and “fined”
B) present “A” for ID when necessary (booze, welfare, etc.)
C) present “B” when registering to vote
D) present “C” when filing “taxes”, i.e., free shit

repeat all steps as necessary.

The one thing Arizona gets right is issuing driver’s licenses that can last for decades without renewal.

I have, in the last 14 years, been hit by unlicensed drivers four times and not once was it because the courts removed the licenses over exorbitant fees. Every single time it was because they were invaders to our country with no respect for our laws. And it is these people that cities and courts give special treatment that legal residents of America never receive regardless of income.

When they got away with the big one-illegally invading our country-and not only got away with it but got rewarded for it, they knew we were chumps.

IIRC, unless you’re over age 65.

“We literally stumbled onto this issue,” one of the report’s authors, Mike Herald of the Western Center on Law and Poverty, told me. “No one was keeping track of all these things we were loading onto the court system, and no one was keeping track of the number of suspensions.”

EVERYBODY in California is aware of this. What the author means it that he couldn't find a way to try to make this a race or class issue...until now.

Pfffft.....police enforce laws and traffic regulations.
Unless their Union tells them not to...like in Baltimore and NYC (so far).

So, you were saying?

There’s no money to be had from stopping, arresting, fining illegals, so why bother?

Thirteenth Amendment Section 1.

Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as a punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted, shall exist within the United States, or any place subject to their jurisdiction.

So use them to build the border wall, paying them but charging them for their upkeep. Or just house and feed them without pay while they work on it, that's fine too.

Thanks for posting this! This is a serious issue.

Perhaps someone will try to do something about it. But then, some cop will get murdered and the “war on police” yahoos will shout it down.

The sad thing about the Internet is that, without it, I'd still think we live in a free country. No wonder the government is taking it over.

and law enforcement. No longer are the police out there to “Protect and Serve”

And they haven’t been for a very long time, When the Transformation from “Peace Officer” to “Law Enforcement” began in the 70’s, I knew then what my Grandfather meant when he told me the stories about the Nazi’s he fought in WWII.

What states are doing is “suspending drivers licenses” for missing paying parking fines and other forms of non payments of misdomeanor fines un-related to driving.

Once these get on record and the driver is unaware of this and had missed a mailed notice while moving to another state .They will not get a license from that state until those fines are paid because of reciprocal agreements.

It’s even worse if your state residency is miss reported on a DUI. You will be unable to get anykind of provisional license from the state you live in until you re-establish residency in that state which was miss-reported and go through that states re-hab program which can take months and hundreds if not thousands of dollars.

Our insurance company actually took the word and sided with the illegal.
****************
You pay for insurance and your rates can and will be raised ,, the other driver is a dead issue to them ,, charging him with the accident gets them nothing..

From your reply I take that a policy holder buys/pays for insurance but in the case of an accident your insurance company gets to decide if they want to reimburse you for someone else’s lack of insurance. Just reinforces my belief that any accident insurance company is solely for the benefit of the company.

Every insurance company I have ever dealt with is more than happy to take my premiums. However, when i try to make a claim (twice in 30+ years), they do everything in their power to NOT pay out.

My car was hit in a parking lot, and my insurance said I was 50% at fault. JUST for being in a parking lot.

The only thing lower than insurance companies is a politician. Hagfish are less distasteful.

If you blow a “warn” (LESS than 0.08, but more than 0.05) on a roadside screening device here, your car is towed and your licence is suspended until you go to the DMV and pay:

$250. licence reinstatement fee
$200. fine
$31. licence re-issue fee
$100. disputation fee NON-REFUNDABLE(if you choose to dispute the licence revocation.

Oh, and the best part is that you have to do all this within 7 days of the event.

In other words, even though you haven’t broken the law (you’ve contravened a regulation, not a law!), you’re out $581.
