Rove said the only way to stop these acts was to remove guns from society and that would require repealing the 2nd Amendment. Rove did not say that guns should be removed from society. Nor did he say the 2nd Amendment should be repealed.

You're right. He didn't say those things. BUT, he brought the issue up. This is how the establishment works it. Bring the issue up. Bring it into the conversation. Slowly 'evolve' your party's position to 'grudgingly agree' with the Democrats.
