My son just got put on anti-depressants. He’s never been the same since he had mono in high school. Then, my husband had cancer and lost his job. Then our daughter got a rare disorder.

My son just kept on getting worse. I was hoping he’d get better in college, but he kept getting worse.

Then last semester, his roommate attempted suicide and my son saw the whole thing. It was like the straw that broke the camel’s back.

Now, I will add that my mom was put on meds for bipolar disorder. She literally went crazy after my dad had open heart surgery and I moved away from home. The meds did their thing, and my mom has been great ever since. She’s in her 80s and still has an antique shop. I’m so thankful for those meds. She would have had to go to an institution without the meds. On them, she has led a wonderful life!!

I’m glad you had a positive experience with them. Some people very dear to me had the opposite.
