Yes, you're right. He's never understood fundamentally why black Americans lag behind so many other groups in the USA. If racism were the only explanation, why do foreign born black Americans have greater average incomes than American born black Americans? I'd say it's largely because those folks come with intact families and greater focus on work. Their homelands didn't give them much help and they expect to have to go out and get it on their own.

We need a law that says welfare has to skip a generation. If you have been a welfare child, you are not eligible for welfare as an adult. If you are a welfare child, you would need to get an education and a job.

wow. South American blacks do pretty well. They make more than the average of all US adults. I would have never thought.

I would imagine it includes welfare, but, and I’m not trying to be funny, welfare isn’t going to make anyone wealthy. I guess if they then had a job where they’re paid under the table their income could be pretty good.

no. welfare doesnt pay alot. but the section 8 and food stamps add up.
I have a cousin on SS who never worked. He’s the outcast lol.
between money and rent subsidies and food stamps, he gets about 2k per month.
