I’ve got my fingers crossed that Bernie goes 3rd party with the backing of Fauxcohantus.
What’s Bernie got to lose, he’s not a Dem. Go Bernie, go!

“Even Bill Kristol recognizes how smart Trump is, and said so often in his column.”

True. Funny enough though, the only direct reference Kristol makes to Trump being “smart” is as a smart oddball.

I value your opinion. Just not sure if guys like Kristol, George Will, etc., matter anymore. Look at 2008 and 2012. I think pretty much the successful Republican candidates have to fend for themselves and run a very tight campaign without flubs and gaffs.

With the Donald, I have my doubts he can pull if off. His “outlouder” seems to be broken much of time!

Did Trump tell the truth about his donations to the Dems?

Usually, donations are public records.

Also most large corporations contribute to both sides so that they have access.

Did he lie about it?

Trump v. Sanders = political distinctions even greater than Reagan v. Mondale. Bernie, Bernie, Bernie /sarc

If the noseholders would let go of their noses and refuse to vote for the Democrat in an R jersey, Jebster, then Trump would win in that scenario.

“We are not allowed, needless to say, to disclose our top secret list ranking the GOP presidential candidates from top to bottom. It’s kept in encrypted form on a password-protected, self-destructing hard drive in a safe room at The Weekly Standard”

Its a short list. Jeb Bush, Mitt Walker and Marco Rubio. The establishment dream. Unfortunately none of them can beat Shrillary.

I believe Reagan also was at one time pro-choice.

Not necessarily pro choice, but he was not ardently pro life either during his early days as governor since he did sign the bill that legalized abortion in Califiornia in 1967. He later regretted signing the bill into law and cited his inexperience as governor for signing the bill into law.

Standard anti- Trump talking points. Trump will never win, Trump is out of control. Ad nauseum, ad inifinitum..

You have to wonder, though. For someone who will “never win’”the bootlicker media sure is spending an awful lot bandwidth throwing what it can at him.

I predict the polling data will be very interesting the next couple of weeks.

Trump flipped on too many issues, kinda like Romney.

As for Reagan’s position on life, here’s an excerpt from Mark Levin:

“Others have suggested that Reagan flip-flopped on abortion; this is also false. He advocated a health exception (for the life of the mother) which, as he explained later, was exploited to include virtually anything. But he wasn’t pro-abortion. Giuliani and Romney were. And they are struggling with it today. Reagan learned that the exception became the rule, and he would oppose abortion of any kind from then on. To compare this with those who emphatically defended abortion on demand (and federal funding no less, in Giuliani’s case) is nonsense. ..”
