Why because he voted for a bill that will require Congressional involvement in trade deals and transparency of the trade agreements?

Cruz is the most Conservative person in the race and he has the 100% Conservative Rating to prove it.

The idea that he would approve of anything that would endanger U.S. sovereignty when he has won land mark Supreme Court decisions against the President, the U.N. and the World Court protecting our U.S. sovereignty.

He has not supported the TPP agreement. When it is complete, he will review it and make that decision.

Someone screws up under Trump they dont get a 2nd chance. Hitlery would have been gone the next day after Benghazi with Trump publically calling her incompetent. He dont give good recommendations if he fires you. I grew up in New York city and know people who worked for him. He demands excellence or you’re gone. He is exactly the kind of guy we need in the Whitehouse.

he (Trump) is too busy paying people to show up at his rallies

Would I rather have someone who paid me to show up for his rallies or someone who bothers me at least once a day for another donation?

I stopped to watch his interview with Bill O’Reilly. His bravado was over the top as was his temperment. O’Reilly was the wrong guy to do that interview. I do however enjoy hearing him boldly and unabashedly talk about his love for America.

CRUZ is my guy.

Dictator?

lol...

This is creating mass political desperation.

And why some are actually comparing and implying what Trump said in his speech is similar to what historic mass murderers have said down through history.

It's a level of desperation that's amazing to watch. Very revealing.

BTW, I think everything Trump said needed to be said and it's the truth and is exactly what needs to be done to salvage this country. If that's even possible at this point.

We need well spoken polite government bureaucrats in charge. They're able to stab us in the back while exhibiting civil decorum. Lets keep it business as usual, shall we?

I’m not his staunch supporter. But I like his stance on most foreign policy issues.

...you forgot to add TPA and TPP (it will pass because of TPA regardless of what Cruz says).

“But a huge obstacle IF he were to be elected would be Congress.”

Why? They all line up at his door now. What would change?

If any body in this world is in need of strong leadership by a President its the Republican Congress.

It’s easy to say all the right things when you have no record.

Yes there is a record. The guy is mega success and in fact built an entire empire.

Compare this to the do nothing bureaucratic blowfish who've driven this country into a ditch for decades.

Ya want to keep it business as usual? Continue voting for career government bureaucrats.

"except Cruz also includes Abolishing the IRS and Protecting Religious Freedom."

Did you forget TPA and TPP, two initiatives that Cruz supports and Trump doesn't? In fact, since Senator Cruz is a subject you choose to discuss, how about that immigration issue?

Cruz ALSO supports legalizing all those here illegally now and increasing H-1B 500%.

And he never talks about a wall on the US border with Mexico.

Yes, he supports many other things Trump does not.

Unusually over the top. I like Trump. I like Cruz better. Someone is going to have to destroy the Democrat nominee in the debates.

Cruz is fearless and can turn around a loaded interview question making the interviewer look as stupid and disrespectful as they really are with a smile.

I wast Cruz in the Whitehouse and Trump working somewhere in his administration negotiating - SOS maybe?

Trump exudes such a huge amount of confidence more than any other candidate. That kind of confidence is intoxicating.

The reason ISIS is winning in the Middle East is that they are hyper maniacally confident. They are going against all the Western countries and they should be wiped out; yet, they are winning because of their confidence. The West is losing because the it has no confidence to mount a proper attack on ISIS.

I’m not in any way comparing Trump to Isis. I am simply pointing out that when you are very confident and with a track record to back it up you become unstoppable.

Trump is confident and has a huge track record and right now I think he is feeling out the American people to “make the deal” to elect him as president. Trump has the kind of confidence where he really does not care if he loses. He knows his strength and right now he is feeling out the terrain to see whom he will make deals with and seal the presidency.

Let’s see how he dances across the chess board. If his deal making becomes successful we will see all the right groups fall into line. Building hotels in places like New York is unbelievably difficult yet this guy knows how to do it.

Let’s see how well he builds a presidency out of the ruins Obama is leaving.

Cruz has not said he supported TPP. It is not complete and he will not make a decision until it is. I support TPA.

Cruz doesn’t support legalizing all that are here. He talks about temporary work visas, but those are granted individually and have to be renewed.

He says things like "If I'm elected you better believe they're going to run! I'll get the best people and we'll get them all!"

Okay, that's sort of vague.

This is getting so convoluted. There are things I like about Trump...his love of and pride in the USA, I know he wouldn't get run over internationally like Obama who can't negotiate anything, and he wouldn't put up with incompetence.

Nevertheless....pretty dang difficult to think of him as having the temperament to be POTUS and his bragging is ridiculous. And posted above is his criticism of Reagan....THAT I find intolerable!

"The guy is a raving, lying, publicity-starved lunatic. "

And, don't forget an abrasive, shoot-from-the-hip megalomaniac. He is summarily derisive of anyone else in the arena.

He is not a likeable guy.

I hope I get the chance to vote for him.

Trump would be better suited to Secretary of Commerce.
