The House on Thursday approved a key plank of President Obama's trade agenda after the push nearly imploded amid Democratic resistance last week, sending the bill to the Senate where it still faces an uncertain fate.

The 218-208 vote nevertheless marked a significant victory for Obama and his pro-trade supporters in both parties. The vote came after Obama huddled Wednesday evening with congressional allies to try to craft a way forward.

The GOP does not fear conservatives.

And until that changes, nothing changes.

Despite probably being a waste of time, I contacted my congress critter in hopes they’ll put the brakes on this POS legislation. Haven’t seen a list of aye and nays from the house yet. It’s not as if the lyin’ king hasn’t done enough damage already.

The GOP declared war on conservatives last cycle. Too many didn’t want to believe that they meant it and voted for them anyway.

If Cruz votes in favor, I'm voting straight 3rd party this year. The GOP is dead. I no longer care about a GOP majority. It does NO GOOD anyhow, so we might as well just put the DNC in place. I hope the GOP loses BIG TIME in 2016. If Cruz can't pull his head outta his rear and vote against this, that's it for me. Not a single GOP pol will EVER see another dime of my money, or my vote.

Let’s see Cruz try to sweep this under the rug.

Paul along with Session, Lee, Shelby and Collins voted NO in the Senate. So why to you "guess" he'd change from No to Yes?

My cold feet moment came when Cruz announced and I decided to support him. As of today, he is the only GOP candidate getting my vote. The rest WILL BE 3rd party, I give you my word on that. AND, if Cruz DOES vote for this crap this time around, well, then I WILL REFUSE to hand a single vote to the GOP.

That's a shame. I'll be sure to send some vasoline your way. The way the GOP is screwing the voters, you're gonna need it. Might want to reconsider though. Anyone willing to vote for the GOP after this IS the problem.
