If someone in that room had a concealed handgun permit and carrying their weapon, it is very likely this shooting would not have happened or cut short. Period.
We have a right to defend ourselves. Police were not there to protect us.
We could pass the strictest gun control on the planet and it will not stop criminals or crazy people from getting guns. The minute guns are banned nationwide, a huge black market will emerge. Gun runners will be looking to cash in.
The answer is for politicians and law enforcement to get the hell out of the way and allow citizens to arm and protect themselves.

That is why this story means nothing to me (beyond warning my children to be aware of the low-profile race war). We don’t have to keep “playing nice”; I don’t hear a peep when black perps murder innocent whites, so I won’t play ball.
