I’m thinking he converted to Islam because he has that empty, thousand-mile-stare of death like so many jihadis have.
Could be schizophrenia (he falls in the age group for onset in males) and if the pastor was on TV much, targeted the church because voices told him to.
I suppose it does no good to speculate though. We’ll know more in the coming days.
