Something fishy here. Guy goes to a “prayer meeting” that was not announced on the church website or Facebook, shoots a state senator and politically connected “Reverend” who by chance was at a Hillary campaign fund raiser earlier the same day, along with seven others. Shoots and kills nine of ten people before any can escape or overpower him, with a handgun, after calmly sitting around biding his time until the right moment, lets the tenth person live “as a witness” and gets away without getting caught by authorities. This was a highly trained individual— maybe a nutcase with a lot of time and patience, but this was NOT some random emotional act of violence, imo.
I checked the church website last night and the calendar didn’t exist nor was there any link to a church schedule.
True, the prayer meeting wasn’t announced, but it should be pretty widely known that most Protestant churches, particularly Black churches, traditionally have Wed. night Bible study, prayer meetings and/or choir practice. That said, WHY was THIS church and THIS pastor singled out?
