Some sources say that she contracted with Chinese run, slave worker, "bread making factories" that provided her with fake French (and other types of) Bread, which she then sold, at massively marked up prices, to unwitting Americans.

Also, the fake Bread was delivered by using all illegal immigrants, crossing the border from Mexico!
