I had to look up gender dysphoria awhile back. I was wondering how the treatment for a mental illness could possibly involve genital mutilation surgery. IMO, the only possible appropriate surgery for a mental illness would be something along the lines of a labotomy.
As it turns out: Thinking that you are a woman trapped in a man's body is not the mental illness. These feelings are real. The "gender dysphoria" is all the anxiety and whatnot that comes from being a woman trapped in a man's body; therefore, snipping can then become the appropriate treatment. Pretty convenient that psychology.
There are people on the Trump threads calling for us to do exactly that.
When I think of people mutilating themselves with doctors help, I wonder how much further the slippery slope can go, how much worse can it get? There has to be a point where freaks can not do anything freakier.
