I think I understand “trans” but don’t know what “cis” means?

I gotta fly ... The carpooling is exhausting g BEFORE actually going to work! I’ll check back at lunch for my “Learning”

“Cis” is the opposite of “trans” in chemistry when talking about isomers.

It was adopted by the loonies to serve as a word to mean the opposite of a “transgender” person. A cis-gendered person is what we knuckle-dragging cavemen would call “normal,” i.e. a man with a man’s body.
