Mr. Perry of the three, you have the least capability to be President. Cruz has the most and Bush is somewhere in between. Our President today requires a guy with a lot of intellectual heft to understand all going on in the world. Mrs. Clinton also comes up very short.

While operating under the stress of an intense nationally televised debate, on pain killers with loss of sleep, wonder how many of these brave freepers could avoid a similar lapse of memory? It must be nice to have every word you ever need to speak lined up and ready to roll out in an instant. But some people are perfect.

Trump has more common sense then anyone running plus he is a businessman. Trump might be able to save us from the mess Obama created.

Trump knows absolutely nothing about politics and should stay where he is comfortable, on tv shows.

Really, you are basing the ratings on RCP? We just saw a poll with Carson leading. ONLY 380 “Republicans” vote on it. How can you put any stock in those...

That having been said, I’d much rather Perry on stage than Linda Graham.

Was that before or after he told us we were essentially uncompassionate for not accepting illegals?

For what it’s worth department and which will they select I have no idea.

Candidates must place “in the top 10 of an average of the five most recent national polls,
as recognized by Fox News leading up to August 4th at 5 PM/ET,” Fox News Executive
Vice President Michael Clemente announced. “Such polling must be conducted by major,
nationally recognized organizations that use standard methodological techniques.”

Depends on the man. Donald Trump, the same dumbass who supported RINO Mitt Romney, isn't that man.

This is a conservative forum. Trump is no conservative.

Trump has more business sense then 99% of us. This country is in deep financial trouble with idiots like Yellen printing money. We need to get away from this attorney knows best BS. I am darn tired of hearing -he won this case or that one. That does not make a budget or sound policy. If you had experience in Administrative Policy Formulation you might want a Trump for Pres.

Trump has more business sense then 99% of us.

So does Jeff Bezos (Amazon), Howard Schultz (Starbucks), Larry Page (Google), Tim Cook (Apple) and Warren Buffett (Berkshire Hathaway). But that doesn't mean they would make good candidates or presidents.

Your "logic" is fatally flawed.

To be precise, he stated that in connection with in-state tuition for children of illegal immigrants that had attended high school in Texas. It was not the smartest thing he could say, but what could he say? Texas is overrun with illegals, and if you want to get elected in Texas you have to play the game. If a candidate would come out and say what I have said, for example, he would never, ever get elected in Texas. I think that some Freepers should be more mature and consider things. I have noticed they are mighty quick to forgive, nay, completely overlook, other candidates’ pandering, especially if his first initial is Cruz.

LOL...do you really want to go with what he said about those of us who oppose Amnesty?

You don’t have to play the game for people who CAN’T vote. That is a cop out. I don’t think Abbott played the game and he won big. I dont’ think Cruz played the game and he won big.

Neck, it was a nice effort on your part though.

You must have mis-heard. Perry has never, to my knowledge, as far as I know, proposed amnesty.

Perry may not have proposed amnesty, but he is certainly open to it.

Rick Perry on the Record

Question: "But just to be clear: if border security is accomplished, you can envision some sort of path to citizenship for people who are here illegally?"

And Perry's response?

"Sure."
