I don't want to pass judgement but it sounds like Shelly may have suffered from having too many therapists,psychiatrist and psychologist.Probably had too many pills prescribed to her too.
I don't know but I have had some experiences with the mental community and if your not crazy before they get a hold of you you will be after they do.
